A Case of Primary Omental Pregnancy

Abstract
The abdominal pregnancy is rare and yet one of the most serious forms of extrauterine gestation. Abdominal pregnancies are classified as either primary or secondary. Primary abdominal pregnancy is much less common. The diagnosis of this entity depends on the following criteria; 1) normal tubes and ovaries with no evidence of recent or past injury, 2) no evidence of a uteroplacental fistula and, 3) the presence of a pregnancy related exclusively to the peritoneal surface and early enough to eliminate the possibility of secondary implantation following primary tubal nidation.
We experienced case of primary omental pregnancy in 24 year-old female patient and reported it with brief review of a literature.
